Minimal sewing skills; basic machine sewing skills

Beginner 2    
Some piecing skills and just the basics on rotary cutting

Intermediate    
Good rotary cutting skills – ready to move on to more challenging cutting and piecing
Has completed at least one quilt, including borders, quilting, binding, sleeves, etc.

Advanced    
Ready for complex piecing, including working with bias, set-in seams, and so forth


Sewing Machines/Sergers:  unless you are taking the ‘Basics’ course it is expected that you are comfortable using your machine and that it is in working order.  Class machines (sewing machines and sergers) are available for rent for a fee of $5/day.
