MYSTERY QUILT Suitable for all skill levels, the finished quilt can be made in a variety of sizes – you choose. BLOCK OF THE MONTH - REMINISCENCE REMINISCENCE: The Rabbit Factory continues to delight us and in 2010 we are offering another of their stunning appliqué quilts. Reminiscence features 12 whimsical appliqué blocks, swag and floral spray borders, and 9-patch sashing. Our first meeting is on April 27th from 1:30 to 4 p.m., but you’re welcome to join in at anytime. Kits are available or work from your own fabric collection. Instructor: Joanne Misener Fee: $300.00 includes kit fee and teaching. Workshops will be held on the following days from 10 a.m. to 12 noon: Thursday, May 20; Thursday, June 24; Tuesday, July 20; and Thursday, August 26. Fall dates will be added.
BLOCK OF THE MONTH - SUMMER MELODY SUMMER MELODY: Our sample is in summer florals, but it will look stunning in jewel tone batiks. A Feathered Star Medallion (using Marti Michell templates), framed with appliqué and pieced and applique blocks is sure to delight. Now here’s the challenge -- choose from a full-sized medallion centre or go miniature. Patterns are available in both sizes. Kits will range from $225 to $300 depending on size.
